Argentina Park is located in the heart of the Federal Capital city Islamabad in the Sector G-6. It is a very attractive recreational spot.
The Capital Development Authority (CD) constructed this park with the collaboration of the Government of Argentina. The park was inaugrated on 23 May 1973 at the initiative of the President Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
The Polyclinic Hospital was built in 1966 whereas the Argentina Park was developed for the specific purpose of providing a green and healthy environment to the people of the area, and the patients and those visiting the patients in the hospital to relax.
Now according to the news sources, this park is being planned to say GoodBye and plan is to construct a building for extension of the PolyClinic Hospital.
