Marghzaar Zoo Islamabad is located near Daman e Koh and Japanese park at the Margalla road. The view and location makes it attractable for the visitors. The Margalla mountains adds the beauty to this zoo.
This zoo is very famous recreational spot for the residents of Islamabad as well as the outsider visitors. The kids are attracted to see the different animals.
The shops are also available for refreshments like tuck shop, chaat etc. The zoo has plenty of animals like Lion, Tigers, Deears, Neilgye, different birds like Peacocks etc.
Unfortunately because of the negligence of CDA and government officials/management, many animals died in the early days of the year 2019. Because of this, the zoo is giving the sad and empty look now a days. But hopefully we'll be able to see it again populated by more animals and birds INSHALLAH.
You can also see a Dino Park area where Dinosaurs dummies have been placed in their original sizes. The visitors enjoys this place too along with the zoo.
